Holmen built on a strong second half Tuesday night to...
Today, Holmen High School was filled with music, laughter, and a whole lot of dancing as students came together for the annual Spring Fling 💃🕺
Events like this are what it’s all about—creating opportunities for students to connect, celebrate, and simply enjoy being together. From the dance floor to the smiles throughout the gym, it was a great reminder of the strong sense of belonging that makes our schools so special.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today such a memorable experience for our students!

💪 Strength You Can See — Confidence You Can’t Measure 💪
At Holmen High School, our Weight Training classes are about so much more than numbers on a bar.
And one of the most important things to understand — this isn’t just for athletes.
These classes are for all students. Whether it’s their first time in a weight room or they’ve been training for years, every student is finding their own path to growth.
Yes — the numbers are impressive.
Across our three classes:
➡️ Average bench press increased by 22 pounds
➡️ Average squat increased by 40 pounds
That’s real, measurable progress.
But the most powerful growth we’re seeing can’t be tracked on a chart.
We’re seeing students walk in unsure of themselves… and slowly build confidence.
We’re seeing students set goals, stick with them, and realize they’re capable of more than they thought.
We’re seeing resilience — pushing through hard days, showing up consistently, and putting in the work.
For some students, this is about getting stronger for a sport.
For many others, it’s about building confidence, reducing stress, and finding a place where they belong.
That’s what makes this class so special.
Because the strength being built here doesn’t stop in the weight room — it shows up in classrooms, in activities, and in everyday life.
We’re incredibly proud of the effort, growth, and mindset these students are developing each and every day.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Abigail Holthe for her service as the Holmen High School student representative on the Holmen Board of Education during the 2025–26 school year.
Abigail brought a valuable student voice to the board table, helping to share perspectives, experiences, and insights that are essential in guiding decisions that impact our schools. Her leadership, professionalism, and commitment to representing her peers made a meaningful difference throughout the year.
Monday marked Abigail’s final Board of Education meeting in this role, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and thoughtfulness she dedicated to serving our district.
Thank you, Abigail, for your leadership and for making a positive impact on the School District of Holmen. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!
