Holmen ran into a hot Marshfield team Tuesday night, falling 88–53 in a non-conference matchup at home. The Vikings trailed 35–20 at the half before Marshfield extended the margin in the second half to secure the win.
Senior Alex Berget led Holmen with 12 points, shooting 5-for-10 from the field and knocking down two three-pointers. Sophomore Cohen Kendhammer added 11 points, while juniors Brody Wilber and Jax Meyer each chipped in six. Jackson Jungen provided a spark off the bench, scoring five points on a perfect 2-for-2 shooting night.
As a team, Holmen shot 30% from the field and went 14-for-18 from the free throw line. The Vikings will look to bounce back when they return to action at home against Sparta on Thursday.
