Holmen Vikings

The Holmen boys basketball team earned a 79–73 comeback win over Amery on Saturday morning at the La Crosse Center during the Midwest Players Classic. Trailing 40–33 at halftime, the Vikings put together a strong second half, outscoring the Warriors 46–33 to secure the victory.

Jayden Bartels led the way with 17 points, including four three-pointers, and was named Player of the Game for his performance. Alex Berget paced Holmen with a game-high 20 points, while Cohen Kendhammer added 12 and Ayden Reister chipped in 11. Holmen shot 50% from the field and 40% from three-point range in the win.

The Vikings will return to conference play Tuesday night @ home as they host the La Crosse Logan Rangers.
