Tonight’s Youth Night at Holmen High School brought something brand new to the field — for the first time ever, our 3rd and 4th grade girls suited up for a game of flag football!

Until now, Youth Night has always been about showcasing our youngest players, but this year marked the debut of a girls flag football game, giving even more students the chance to be part of the excitement. This was a night to remember for our youth athletes and families.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. We’re proud to see Holmen Football continue to grow and create opportunities for all students to experience the game.

…and the excitement is building across the School District of Holmen! Tomorrow, we will once again open our doors to welcome back thousands of smiling faces—students ready to learn, grow, and make memories together.

But this year is extra special. It marks a major milestone for our district as we proudly unveil newly remodeled and brand-new learning spaces in schools across our community. After months of planning, hard work, and dedication, students will now get to experience:

✅ Modern, beautiful classrooms designed for collaboration and creativity
✅ Updated HVAC systems for comfort in every season
✅ Improved lighting for bright, welcoming environments
✅ Equitable learning spaces so every student, in every building, benefits from these upgrades
✅ And so much more

Walking through the halls, it’s hard not to feel proud. These spaces are not just functional—they are truly stunning and represent our commitment to providing the very best learning environment for all students.

None of this would be possible without the incredible crews who have been hard at work throughout the year and all summer long. They’ve poured countless hours into making sure our schools are ready for tomorrow, and while a bit of work remains, we couldn’t be more grateful for all they’ve done.

So tonight, as students set out their backpacks and parents take those traditional first-day photos, know that your schools are ready—and we can’t wait to see the excitement, energy, and curiosity fill these new spaces starting tomorrow.

🎉 Welcome, Holmen High School Class of 2029! 🎉

Yesterday, we officially welcomed the Holmen High School Class of 2029 with our annual Freshman Spirit Day—a tradition designed to help our newest Vikings feel right at home before the first day of school!

Throughout the day, students participated in team-building activities, got to know their classmates, and learned what it truly means to be a Holmen Viking. From the moment they walked through the doors, the energy was incredible—laughter, excitement, and plenty of Viking pride filled the halls. 💥

A special shoutout goes to our amazing Holmen Student Leadership Team for planning, organizing, and leading the entire day. Their dedication and leadership ensured everything ran smoothly, and their enthusiasm made the event unforgettable for our incoming freshmen.

We also want to extend a huge THANK YOU to the Holmen Area Foundation for generously covering the cost of lunch for all students. Your continued support makes such a difference for our school community, and we are so grateful for everything you do to help our students thrive. ❤️
