Holmen Vikings

April 24, 2025

The Holmen Vikings picked up a convincing 6–1 road victory over Logan on Monday night behind a dominant complete-game effort from Paul Goryl and timely long balls from Joe Meeter and Noah Oswald.

Goryl was electric on the mound, striking out seven batters and allowing just three hits over seven innings. He didn’t issue a single walk and gave up no earned runs, earning the win in a complete-game performance that kept Logan’s bats quiet all evening.

Offensively, Holmen broke through in the third inning with a three-run frame and never looked back. Joe Meeter launched a home run and drove in three runs on a 2-for-4 night at the plate, while Oswald also homered and matched Meeter with three RBIs of his own. Abe Henderson added two hits, and Braeden Linse reached base three times with a hit and two walks.

Defensively, the Vikings overcame a few miscues in the field, committing three errors, but backed up Goryl with solid play when it mattered.
