The Bruce Luebke Freshman/Sophomore Invitational at Tomah on May 5th showcased outstanding performances from the young athletes. Both the boys and girls won the meet as a team!
Sophia Jacobson had a showcase day where she PRd in the High Jump and 100m hurdles. Additionally, she ran her 2nd ever 400 in the 4x400m relay and improved by 11 seconds. Tay Parcher also had a strong day running a great 400m race, turned around and won the high jump, and then ran another strong 400 in the 4×400.
Our athletes secured top 3 finishes in a significant number of events. Specifically, we achieved top 3 finishers in 14 of the 18 events for the girls and 15 of the 18 events for the boys. The 100m Dash was a particular highlight, with our athletes claiming top 3 positions for both genders. Additionally, our athletes also achieved top 3 finishes in both the 100m Hurdles for girls and the 3200m run for boys, displaying the depth our young team possesses.
